EZ Productions is a Ugandan creative team of content creators, film and television writers, and producers. As co-owner and co-creator of *Ente Zangye / Horns of Destiny*, I am seeking support to produce a compelling three-minute Proof of Concept (POC) video for this exciting 40-episode television drama.
Storyline
In the stunning landscapes of Uganda’s warring cattle-keeping tribes, a gifted school dropout with the power to multiply and heal livestock finds himself entangled in a perilous quest for an ancient cave’s untold wealth. As he races against a vengeful criminal boss and a relentless cattle mogul, loyalty and betrayal blur the lines, revealing the dark secrets of the treasures they seek. Little do they know: the cave’s true purpose holds the key to saving the world from an impending catastrophic event!
The POC will serve as a professional pitch tool to corporate partners, sponsors, and other funders. It will demonstrate the drama’s creative quality, production potential, cultural relevance, and opportunities for product placement and advertising throughout the full season.
We are seeking UGX 10,000,000—approximately USD $2,665–$2,675, based on the current exchange rate—to produce the three-minute POC (Proof of Concept).
The proposed budget breakdown is:
- Equipment hiring - UGX. 4,000,000 (US$ 1,070)
- Locations - UGX. 2,000,000 (US$ 535)
- Actors & crew - UGX. 2,000,000 (US$ 535)
- Catering - UGX. 1,500,000 (US$ 401)
- Transport - UGX. 500,000 (US$ 133)
Total - UGX. 10,000,000/= (Approx. $2,674)
*Ente Zangye / Horns of Destiny* is designed to deliver meaningful creative, social, and economic impact by:
- Raising the quality and visibility of Uganda’s film and television industry.
- Promoting improved animal-husbandry practices through engaging storytelling.
- Creating employment opportunities for actors, filmmakers, technicians, and support personnel.
- Showcasing Uganda’s natural beauty, culture, and tourism potential through the scenic locations featured in the series.
