Every day, hundreds of families, commuters, and travellers journey along the Kampala–Masaka Highway expecting a safe arrival. But when a road traffic accident happens, seconds determine whether a mother returns home to her children or a family loses a loved one forever.
At Our Lady Health of the Sick Nkozi Hospital, emergency care is currently forced into improvised spaces and crowded OPD corridors. When multiple victims arrive at once, space and equipment limitations delay the critical, lifesaving intervention these patients urgently need.
We are building a dedicated, fully equipped Accident, Emergency, and Trauma Center to ensure no life is lost due to a lack of immediate care.
The Vision is Halfway There—We Need You to Finish It
This is not a project on paper. Through community support, local fundraising, and institutional contributions, 49.62% of the project is already complete. The entire substructure stands finished, and the ground-floor walls are up. The community has laid the foundation; now, we need your support to complete the remaining 50.38%.
What Your Support Will Build and Equip
Your contribution directly funds the final push to turn rising walls into an operational sanctuary:
- Completion of Construction: Roofing, plastering, flooring, plumbing, electrical installations, and security fittings.
- Essential Infrastructure: Medical gas systems, backup power, water supply, and emergency communications.
- Lifesaving Medical Equipment: Defibrillators, ventilators, trauma resuscitation gear, patient monitors, emergency stretchers, and portable ultrasound units.
- Specialized Staff Training: Equipping doctors and nurses with advanced trauma management skills.
Why Your Contribution Matters Today
Serving over 266,400 residents across Mawokota South and thousands of daily highway commuters between Central and Western Uganda, this center will transform emergency healthcare across the region.
Every dollar, shilling, or share brings us closer to faster emergency response, better trauma care, and fewer preventable deaths.
How You Can Help
- Donate Now: Every amount—large or small—directly purchases equipment or builds a physical section of the center.
- Share This Campaign: Help us reach friends, organizations, and well-wishers who care about saving lives.
One day, the life saved by this center could belong to a stranger, a friend, a family member, or even you. Give today. Save a life tomorrow.
